Ocala, FL – March 24, 2015 – Equis Boutique, in cooperation with partner brand Kentucky Horsewear, awarded their first-ever “Best Presented Horse” honor at the FEI horse inspection during The Live Oak International in Ocala, Florida, last weekend. After evaluation by FEI Judges, a selection of Kentucky Horsewear products as well as a commemorative silver trophy were presented to Vinton Karrasch (USA) and his immaculate charge, Coral Reef Follow Me, during Sunday’s prize giving ceremonies.
After impressing judges at the jog, Karrasch and Coral Reef Follow Me were clear in the Waldron Wealth Management Welcome Speed Stake 1.40m and finished 12th out of an impressive 42 in the Live Oak International CSI2*-W Grand Prix.
FEI judges themselves with an eye on design and quality for top riders, Equis founders Elena Couttenye and Cesar Hirsch felt the FEI jog was the place for them. “This was the last World Cup Qualifying event of the year and a very special competition that we were eager to be a part of all season,” said Hirsch. “We were proud to present Vinton with this award. The jog was the perfect opportunity for everyone involved in the management of these horses to showcase their work and reward them, plus educate them on the importance of presentation of horses and riders to the FEI judges and ground jury. We look forward to presenting this award at various FEI horse inspections at major events across the United States in 2015.”
